Volunteerism

In order to provide a venue for our skaters to develop their skills and to
demonstrate them, the club provides Club Ice, competitions, and show performances. No one in the club is salaried. This requires parental and skater participation. Each skater over 18 or their parent or guardian if the skater is under 18 is requested to donate volunteer time. Volunteer duties include: making props, taking care of costumes, selling tickets, selling advertising, running shows and competitions. Yes, parents and skaters, we need you! Just think, you can learn new skills such as painting, sewing, costume design, accounting, publishing, and graphic design.

Dues

Annual dues are spent on administrative expenses, student scholarships, Test sessions, Critiques, and shows. The fees for participation in shows & testing only covers a small portion of these expenses.

Shows

The Club endeavors to put on two shows per year, one in the spring, and a holiday show.

Scholarships

Provided the Club can fund the scholarships, participation and volunteerism are required for skaters to receive scholarship monies from the club.
Details will be provided in a separate document specifically concerning scholarships.
